Dr. Dubey is
actively involved in charity work for poor eye patients. He founded R.K. Devi
Eye Research Institute in 1985 which is a registered charitable Institution
& also exempted by Income Tax Act 12 A under 80 G. Till March 2013 he and
his team have operated over 23622 poor
eye patients free and have examined over 234167 poor eye patients. He believes to provide same quality eye
care to the poor and paying patients. As an Eye specialist his mission is to treat the poor blind as India
has the maximum in the world (approx. 9 million).
FOUNDER OF THE YOUNG ACHIEVERS GROUP (TYAG)
The Young
Achievers Group (Youth For service & development) is designed for
overall development of the Youth & to cultivate Social responsibility in
them. It is founded by Dr Awadh Dubey of
Kanpur India in collaboration
with selected schools for their 9th
grade students. Initially the schools are from India but they will be
partnered with schools from Some other Countries.
Though
a senior citizen he is young by heart. He is enthusiastic & energetic for
the social causes .He is very proactive in his profession as well.
